Parent Registration

Georgetown University is committed to the safety of all individuals in its community. The University has particular concern for those who are potentially vulnerable, including minor children (those under age 18), who require special attention and protection.

Per Georgetown University’s Minor Guest Policy, guests under the age of 16 are not permitted in University-owned student housing at any time unless they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Guests who are 16 or 17 years of age are permitted to stay overnight in University-owned student housing with written permission from a legal parent or guardian. Minor guests may not stay for more than three (3) consecutive nights on campus.
